CNAME or Forward your own domain

CNAME instructions

A CNAME allows a sub-domain that you own to resolve to cloudattract.com. Once you set this up, a url like 'http://www.mydomain.com/12345' or 'http://homevalue.mydomain.com/12345' will seemlessly show your landing page at 'http://cloudattract.com/12345'. This is useful because you can set up one sub-domain and it can work with all of your landing pages.

Below are specific instructions for several popular domain providers.

Hover:
1. Choose your domain name, then DNS, then Add New.
2. For the Host, enter either a specific sub-domain like 'homevalue' or use '*' to make any sub-domain work.
3. For the Record Type, choose CNAME.
4. For the Target Host, enter 'cloudattract.com'.
5. Choose Save.

Network Solutions:
1. Under My Domain Names, choose Edit DNS.
2. Check your domain name, then Edit DNS, then Manage Advanced DNS Records.
3. Choose Edit CNAME Records.
4. For the Alias, enter either a specific sub-domain like 'homevalue' or use '*' to make any sub-domain work.
5. Choose Other Host and enter 'cloudattract.com'.
6. Choose Continue.

Forwarding instructions

A Forward allows a specific path on a domain that you own to resolve to a specific landing page on cloudattract.com. Once you set this up, a url like 'http://mydomain.com/homevalue' will seemlessly forward to your landing page at 'http://cloudattract.com/12345'. This is useful because you can set up a path with a pretty name and it can forward to a specific landing page.

Hover:
1. Choose your domain name, then Forwards, then Add New.
2. For the Shortcut Name, enter a path name like 'homevalue'.
3. For the Forward To, enter the url for your specific landing page, like 'http://cloudattract.com/12345'.
4. Choose Save.
